FACE OF GLOBAL SEARCH COMPETITION RULES

 

1.       This competition is run by Oban Multilingual Strategy Limited, whose registered office is at Sussex Innovation Centre, Science Park Square, Falmer, Brighton BN1 9SB (“Oban”).

2.       This competition is open only to persons in the European Union [aged 18 years or over], excluding employees of Oban and related companies, and their families, as well as representatives or agents of those companies and anyone else who may be involved with the competition.

3.       The prize(s) will be as stated on the competition page of this site (the “Prize”).  There is no cash or other alternative and the Prize is not transferable.  Oban may in its absolute discretion substitute an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

4.       Entrants must fully complete the online user registration form and submit it as directed.  Only one entry per person, to be determined by email address.  Multiple, repeat or automated entries will be rejected.

5.       By submitting entries to Oban, entrants are granting to Oban a perpetual royalty-free non-exclusive licence to reproduce, modify, translate, make available, distribute and allow others to use any material submitted in whole or in part or in any form.  Oban will endeavour to credit entrants of the material where possible, but cannot guarantee to do so.

6.       The closing date for receipt by Oban of entries is 11.59pm UK time on 23rd July 2008.  Entries received after that time shall be rejected.  Oban shall in no circumstances be liable for the failure of an electronic entry to be received by Oban by the closing date whether or not such failure is connected to the entrant’s email system, Oban’s email system, the interface between the two systems and/or any other cause whatsoever.

7.       The winning entries will be selected at random by Oban from all eligible entries and the Prize winner(s) will be notified by email within seven days.  Prize winners will be notified using the email address supplied to enter the competition, and where a Prize winner does not confirm receipt of notification within seven days, Oban reserves the right to draw a substitute winner and the original winner will forfeit the Prize.  The judge’s decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.  A list of winners will be posted on Oban’s website.

8.       Prize winners will be asked to supply their postal address for receipt of the Prize.  Oban reserves the right to verify the eligibility of a Prize winner before the Prize is awarded.  Entrants providing incorrect, inaccurate or fraudulent information will be disqualified and the Prize awarded may be forfeited at Oban’s discretion.

9.       Oban is not liable in the event of unavailability of any Prize or any part thereof or for other matters beyond its control, nor is it liable to any Prize winner for any cancellation, or any delay, loss, damage, distress or inconvenience connected with the Prize, to the greatest extent that it is possible to exclude such liability under law.

10.     Prize winners agree to participate in any publicity required.

11.     In submitting an entry to the competition, entrants agree to the data protection and other provisions set out in the Data Protection and Privacy Notice and to our use of their information in accordance with these competition rules.
